Letter to Moreton Bay Regional Residents

Working with service clubs to provide community facilities
Welcome to my website and thank you for taking the time to visit.
It is now rapidly approaching four years since the amalgamation of the Caboolture, Pine Rivers and Redcliffe councils to create Australia's third largest local authority, the Moreton Bay Regional Council stretching over 2,037 sq kms. The challenges that this has created have far exceeded what we were all told to expect and despite these challenges, I have been proud to represent the 30,000 plus residents across the 600 sq kms of diverse communities that comprise Division 11.
Much has taken place around the Division and I am pleased to have contributed to the significant achievements made by this Council which have made Moreton Bay Region the great place it is to live, work and play.
As we enter the last months before the next Council election on 31st March 2012, you can be assured that, despite the difficulties being faced by local government across the State, I will continue to work hard for my residents to deliver fair, equitable and value for money services and facilities with the integrity and energy that have been cornerstones of my life and I look forward to each opportunity to meet more of you as I move around the Division.
