Carpark upgrades - Samford, Mt Samson and Narangba
The Samford Community Centre overflow gravel carpark received a major upgrade over the school holidays with reprofiling of the area being undertaken, a full asphalt concrete surface being laid and linemarked and fencing and bollards installed.
These works, were completed at a cost of $85,000 and provide an additional 45 car spaces around the community centre for use during activities at the centre and during school times by parents and teachers.
The carpark at Mount Samson State School has recently been sealed. This is a great improvement to the area and provides improved access particularly in wet weather. The carpark at the Williamina sports reserve has also recently received a new bitumen surface.
